Very fine copy – as new. Reprint edition 1884. This work reveals about 1500 anonyms and about 2500 pseudonyms of members of the Society of Jesus [Jesuits] of all countries, written in all languages. It is the only book on the subject and it is very important, especially with regard to geography in connection with the mission literature. This volume ends with a short biographical dictionary of the authors of the order of the Jesuits.
