CONTENTS: 1. Handstempels [handpress material]. 2. Handfileten [handfillets].. 3. Rolfileten [cylinderfillets].. 4. Persstempels [presstamps]. 5. Lijnen [lines]. 6. Handletters [hand typefaces]. 7. Persletters [press typefaces]. Very fine copy – as new. When in 1974 bookbindery van Bommel was liquidated all the gilding material went to the FGE. This collection is depicted in this book. The oldest material dates from the 18th century. The second group from 1785-1840. The Classicistical material and the so-called Neo-styles [Neo-Baroque, Neo-Gotic, Neo-Magnus and Neo-Grolier]. The fourth group the period 1880-1925: Art Nouveau and Art Deco. The fifth and last all the other material.
